Our lash artists usually select three to four different extension lengths and place the longer ones on the outer eye corners and shorter ones on the inner corners.
Prepping
The next step is to cleanse and prep the skin.
Our lash artists like to ensure that they’re working on a clean surface.
Any makeup or skincare product on the skin can leave an invisible trace that interferes with the lash glue and hinder the lash extension from proper adhesion.
While we recommend coming to your lash extension appointment bare-faced, we will use a high-quality, chemical-free cleanser to wipe down your skin and ensure it is free from dirt, makeup, or germs.
Applying the Tape and Eye gels
Your eyes will remain closed for the entirety of this process. We will have you sit down in a comfortable seat and start applying the tape and eye gels. The under-eye gels provide us with a clear contrasting background to work on and keep the lower lash out of the way.
Then we start picking up the lash extensions and dip each end of the lash extensions in high-quality glue. Then we carefully apply them to your natural eyelashes.
Once done, we will use a spoolie to brush out your lashes, and there you go.
